HIGHGATE

A complete remodelling of the ground floor of this substantial detached family home in Highgate transformed the way the property functions for modern family living. The kitchen and sitting room were repositioned, and the utility room relocated, creating a more intuitive flow between the spaces.

A striking 4.2m island forms the focal point of the kitchen, with book-matched Silveroot ceramic drawer fronts seamlessly integrated with the worktop. Created in collaboration with K&I Kitchens, the bespoke kitchen combines exceptional craftsmanship with refined detailing. A suite of beige Miele appliances complements the cabinetry, while a recessed planter set within the island introduces a connection to nature and can also be transformed into a champagne station for entertaining.

Three gas burners and an induction hob are set directly into the work surface, maintaining the clean architectural aesthetic. Bespoke cabinetry conceals a breakfast station, bar area and everyday appliances behind bi-fold and pocket doors, ensuring the space remains beautifully uncluttered.

The adjoining sitting area is centred around a dramatic oversized screen, while the dining space enjoys views across the landscaped garden. The result is a highly functional yet elegant family home that balances practicality with understated luxury.
